Cinnamon French Toast, Steel Cut Irish Oatmeal Brûlée on the Mother’s Day Brunch Menu at The Guest House at Graceland in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Taking a cue from the way Elvis treated his own beloved mother, Gladys, Chef Leland Spence at Delta’s Kitchen has created a special Mother’s Day Brunch 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 13 at Delta’s Kitchen inside The Guest House at Graceland, Memphis’ newest AAA Four Diamond resort hotel.

The Mother’s Day menu features both breakfast and Sunday dinner options, including a Sliced Fruit Display of Seasonal Melons, Fresh Berries and House Made Granola; Cinnamon French Toast or Buttermilk Pancakes with a choice of vanilla peach or blueberry compote, or Chantilly cream and fresh seasonal berries; Eggs Benedict with toasted English muffin, grilled asparagus, seared heirloom tomato, and roasted red pepper hollandaise; and Steel Cut Irish Oatmeal Brûlée with choice of vanilla peach or blueberry compote. Guests can also choose from many fresh ingredients for the Build Your Omelet, which is served with fried potatoes.

Entrées include Cajun Crawfish Pasta made with alfresco pappardelle artisan pasta, sweet bell peppers, onions, spring peas and smoked Nueske’s bacon; Roasted French Chicken Breast with sundried tomato mushroom boursin parmesan risotto-brocolini and lemon herb chicken Au Jus; Grilled Honey Barbeque Canadian Salmon with mango stilton risotto and asparagus; and Filet Mignon with cream marble potato mushroom hash, buttered asparagus, petit green tip carrot and port wine demi.

The Mother’s Day menu offers three desserts: Triple Chocolate Mousse Round with Chantilly cream and fresh seasonal berries; Mini Key Lime Pie with a mango shortbread crust, Chantilly cream and vine ripe seasonal berries; and Torciglioli Ricotta Cheesecake with vanilla whipped cream and fresh seasonal berries.
