Clarksville Hosts City’s First Gaming and ESports Convention April 27-28

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Visit Clarksville, CDE Lightband and Clarksville Parks and Recreation will host F2 Con, Clarksville’s first gaming and ESports convention 3-11 p.m. April 27 and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. April 28 at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.

The competition is produced by ESports Now and offers tournament play, casual gaming and fun for all ages with retro gaming, vendors and live streaming competition. All gaming will take place on CDE Lightband’s gigabit internet. Registration is live on the F2 Con website at https://smash.gg/f2con.

Admission for spectators is $5 per day online or $7 per day at the door. Pre-Registration for competitors is $20 for a two-day pass with a pot bonus buy-in at $5. Door registration for competitors is $30 for a two-day pass with a pot bonus buy-in at $5.

F2Con 18 will have eight featured tournaments with a $10,000 pot bonus across various titles like Dragon Ball FighterZ, NBA 2K18, Street Fighter V AE, SMASH Wii U, Tekken 7, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev2, Madden NFL 18 and Rocket League.

Casual gamers can enter the F2 Con Amateur Series Tournaments and Free Play which includes events like Fortnite, Mario Kart 8, Call of Duty and Minecraft with the purchase of a two-day pass. Spectators will have unlimited access to general activities, vendors, and the main stage viewing area.

The Riverview is the host hotel for the event and is offering a $94 rate with code F2CON.
